MG is set to return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (9th–12th July 2026) with a high-octane showcase blending its storied heritage with future-facing innovation. This year’s headline attraction features the exclusive world debut of two concept cars, offering a definitive preview of the brand’s upcoming production models.
Both concepts highlight MG's ambition to elevate its product offering across diverse segments of the electric vehicle (EV) market. The first is a sleek, B-segment electric hatchback slated to join the global lineup in 2027. The second is an advanced electric design vision—an aspirational model crafted to push the boundaries of MG’s aesthetic and technical capabilities.
The wraps will officially come off both vehicles at 11:00 AM on Thursday, 9th July, introduced by MG’s Global Design Vice President, Jozef Kaban. Full specifications and high-resolution editorial imagery will be released immediately following the unveiling.
In line with MG’s mission to democratize cutting-edge technology, the manufacturer's stand will move beyond traditional automotive displays. Visitors will be treated to an immersive tech experience featuring live, interactive robot performances. These demonstrations will run at regular intervals throughout each day, beginning at 10:00 AM, showcasing the broader engineering and automation capabilities driving the brand forward.
MG’s stand will also serve as a showcase for its rapidly expanding electrified vehicle lineup, spanning Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), Hybrid+, and battery-electric (BEV) powertrains.
Key static display models include:
The innovation isn't limited to the static stands. MG will prove its performance credentials on the iconic Goodwood hill climb circuit. Spectators will see three high-performance electrified models tackle the demanding course: the all-new MGS9 PHEV, the agile MGS6 EV, and the stunning MG Cyberster, demonstrating the instant torque and dynamic capabilities of MG’s latest powertrains.
