This landmark achievement highlights MG’s dramatic evolution from its 1924 origins as an iconic British sports car manufacturer to its modern status as one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive brands. By seamlessly blending a century of heritage with accessible innovation and a rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) lineup, MG continues to redefine global mobility for a new generation.
To mark the occasion, MG Motor UK and Europe hosted a special celebration at its London headquarters. William Wang, Managing Director, personally handed over the keys of an all-new, all-electric MG4 EV Urban to the global group’s 100,000,001st customer, Natalia Nobes.
The handover represents a profound full-circle moment for Natalia, whose family’s passion for MG spans three generations, starting with her grandfather’s classic MGB.
"As a child, I would sit in my grandfather’s MGB and imagine what it might be like to drive it," said Natalia Nobes. "This moment feels incredibly special. With the MG4 EV Urban, I’m stepping into something modern and forward-looking, while staying deeply connected to the brand I grew up with."
Speaking at the handover ceremony, William Wang emphasized that this milestone belongs to the drivers who have propelled the brand forward.
