
MG Motor UK has officially been named the UK’s ‘Most Improved Automotive Brand for Customer Satisfaction’ in the prestigious YouGov UK Automotive Rankings 2026.
The independent study reveals that MG achieved the largest year-on-year surge in net customer satisfaction across all tracked automotive manufacturers in the UK, climbing an impressive 8.5 points over the past 12 months. This standout growth places MG firmly at the top of YouGov’s satisfaction improvement index.
YouGov’s customer satisfaction metric calculates the net score by subtracting dissatisfied current and former owners from those who report being satisfied. The 2026 rankings are drawn from nationally representative data collected between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2026, solidifying MG's reputation as a rapidly rising consumer favorite.
MG's chart-topping satisfaction scores are the direct result of massive, strategic investments in its UK aftersales infrastructure and retailer support network:
