In a bold move to enhance the ownership experience, MG is now providing uncapped, like-for-like courtesy vehicle cover for customers across its national network.
Uninterrupted Mobility for MG Owners
The core of the update ensures that if an MG vehicle requires recovery or faces a complex technical repair, the customer won’t just get a ride home—they’ll get a matching MG.
This initiative is powered by a strategic partnership with The AA and Switch Car Rental, utilizing Switch’s national fleet infrastructure to guarantee rapid vehicle deployment.
A Lifetime of Support
MG continues to reward brand loyalty through its "Service Activated" program. While all new MGs come with one year of roadside cover, customers receive a free 12-month renewal every time they service their vehicle at an authorized MG dealer. This ensures protection can last throughout the duration of MG’s signature 7-year/80,000-mile warranty.

Infrastructure for a Growing Community
The enhancement of MG Assistance follows a record-breaking year for the brand. In 2025, MG was the UK’s tenth best-selling brand, delivering its 100,000th electric vehicle and growing its total UK customer base to 380,000.
To support this rapid growth, MG recently opened a 15,000 m² parts distribution center in Daventry. Operated in partnership with XPO Logistics, this facility ensures that parts are delivered faster than ever, minimizing the time customers spend in courtesy cars and getting them back behind their own wheels sooner.
