MG Motor UK Enters 7-Seat Market with the All-New MGS9 PHEV

MG has officially broken cover on its first-ever seven-seat SUV, the MGS9 PHEV. Aimed squarely at modern families, this large-sector entrant pairs a versatile three-row interior with class-leading electric range and a highly competitive price point, starting from £34,205.

The MGS9 PHEV is designed to handle the unpredictable demands of family life. Whether you're hauling sports gear or the whole extended family, the cabin adapts:

7-Seat Configuration: Even with all seats in use, the MGS9 provides 332 litres of storage.
Maximum Utility: Fold the third row to unlock a massive 1,000+ litres of space—perfect for pushchairs, pets, or holiday luggage.
Enhanced Stature: Longer and taller than the MG HS, the MGS9 offers a commanding road presence and superior interior headroom.

Performance and Efficiency

Leveraging the powertrain technology from the award-winning MG HS, the MGS9 PHEV features a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 24.7kWh battery.

The MGS9 PHEV is available to order now, with two trim levels priced between £34,205 and £36,945. Full technical specifications will be released later this month as the first models arrive in our showrooms.
