MG Cyber X Set for Electrifying Global Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed Next Week

The highly anticipated MG Cyber X, a groundbreaking electric concept vehicle, is poised to make its electrifying global debut next week at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. The bold urban EV is expected to be a major highlight of MG's extensive presence at the iconic automotive event, which runs from July 10th to 13th, 2025

MG, under the ownership of China's SAIC Motor, has been steadily making waves in the electric vehicle market, and the Cyber X represents a striking new direction for the brand's "Cyber" sub-family.Having previously teased its distinctive design, including eye-catching pop-up headlights and short overhangs, the Cyber X is designed as a compact, agile "urban explorer" tailored for city life.

While specific technical specifications remain under wraps ahead of the official unveiling, the Cyber X is confirmed to be an all-electric vehicle, showcasing MG's continued commitment to sustainable mobility. Developed under the keen eye of Jozef Kaban, MG's Vice President of SAIC Design, the Cyber X is set to emphasize character and emotional engagement in the electric age.

Goodwood attendees will get their first European glimpse of the Cyber X, alongside another compelling concept, the Cyberster Black – a sleek, deep black variant of the two-seat electric convertible that first wowed audiences at the 2023 Festival.Beyond these captivating concepts, MG is also slated to globally unveil two entirely new production electric vehicles, with one even attempting the famous Goodwood hill climb to demonstrate its formidable acceleration.

MG's expanded presence at Goodwood underscores its impressive growth, with the brand reporting over 240,000 sales in Europe during 2024. The Festival of Speed serves as a crucial platform for MG as it embarks on its second century of vehicle production, showcasing its innovative spirit and design capabilities to a global audience of automotive enthusiasts.

Visitors to Goodwood will have the opportunity to explore two dedicated MG experience zones, featuring popular models like the high-performance MG4 EV XPower and the award-winning MG HS SUV, further highlighting MG's diverse and evolving electric lineup.

The Duke of Richmond, founder of the Goodwood Festival of Speed, expressed his excitement, stating
