MG Motor UK is expanding its popular MG HS SUV lineup with the introduction of two new models featuring its innovative Hybrid+ technology: the MG HS Hybrid+ SE and the MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy. This new hybrid powertrain promises enhanced performance, refinement, and efficiency.

Pricing and Warranty

The MG HS Hybrid+ SE starts at £28,995 OTR, while the MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy is priced from £31,495 OTR. Both models come with MG's extensive 7-year/80,000-mile warranty, providing excellent peace of mind.

Hybrid+ Powertrain

The highly efficient MG Hybrid+ system combines a 1.5T Hybrid petrol engine (105kW) with a powerful electric motor (146kW), an on-board generator, and a large 1.8kWh battery. This collaboration delivers an impressive combined power output of 165kW (225ps), allowing the MG HS Hybrid+ to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 7.9 seconds. Power is managed by a sophisticated 2-speed auto transmission, a feature first seen in the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid. Despite its strong performance, the MG HS Hybrid+ achieves a fuel economy of 51.3 MPG (WLTP combined) and emits low CO2 emissions of 126g/km.

Inside, the MG HS Hybrid+ boasts two prominent 12.3-inch high-definition displays. The central infotainment display offers live navigation services, including weather and traffic updates, Amazon Music integration, and smartphone connectivity via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. The Trophy model further enhances the experience with a 360° surround view camera and wireless smartphone charging.

The second 12.3-inch virtual driver display provides two themes (light and dark) and three modes (Map, Digital, and ADAS), offering customizable layouts to prioritize navigation, essential information, or driver assistance data.

The interior is crafted with quality materials and premium accents, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Key touchpoints include an improved three-spoke steering wheel with enhanced switchgear and a modern, shuttle-style gear shifter.
