The MG5 has met with universal critical acclaim, and it’s easy to understand why. This affordable all-electric estate car delivers a long range and comes generously equipped as standard. It’s also a very nimble vehicle that offers rapid acceleration and is super-comfortable to travel in.
Entry-level SE grades ride on 16-inch alloy wheels and are topped with roof rails that provide extra load-bearing options. Furthermore, all models feature a six-speaker sound system, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and a pair of USB ports in each compartment. Meanwhile, standard-issue safety features include a rear-mounted camera, which serves as an excellent parking aid.
But what about the vehicle’s pure-electric drivetrain? Well, the MG5 is very affordable to run and produces zero CO2 emissions, which means it's exempt from Clean Air Zone tariffs. Depending on which trim you choose, the car offers a range of between 235 and 250 miles and rapid-charging capability.
