WLMG Kia raises funds for charity on Red Nose Day

As a part of ongoing philanthropic activities, our proactive manufacturer Kia UK raises funds for charity on Red Nose Day 2013. WLMG Kia left no stone unturned to raise funds to help impoverished lives.

“When we learnt about this fantastic opportunity to raise funds which would transform millions of lives we were excited and instantly began to chalk out plans. We decided to donate £100 for every car we sell over the comic relief weekend. We offered a special dealership bake sale and collection buckets were placed in the dealerships. The arm wrestling competition against former UK champion Gennady Matkovsky also helped to raise awareness and collect funds. A special dress down day for the employees was agreed upon by the management which also made many waves. We hope our effort will help to save lives and make them better.” said Scott Riley, sales manager, Kia Eastcote.

“This of course is one of the many initiatives that WLMG is proud to be a part of. We encourage local competitions, local charities and associate with every chance that we are given by our premier manufacturer Kia.” said Neal Benstead, sales director, WLMG.

These funds will go to many young people in the UK with mental health issues to help them deal with the problems they face, will help hundreds of women living in extreme poverty in Ghana to start their own small business so they can provide for their children and so on. These are just few example of how every initiative is helping to make a better place for everybody.
