Top Gear calls it impressive. Jeep call it “no compromise”. All we know is, it’s called the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan, the Jeep Grand Cherokee certainly got industry insiders talking. Redesigned with some outstanding safety, styling and security features as standard, we can’t wait to show you what the Jeep Grand Cherokee can do.
Jeep will never forget their wartime heritage - for good reason, too - and subtle nods to their important role in conflict (“Since 1941”) are on the headlights and steering wheel. The revived face of the Jeep Grand Cherokee is leaner, meaner and more handsome, with LED highlights on the front and restyled LED tail lights making for a more responsive and safer drive.
The bold, sharp lines of the Grand Cherokee are highlighted by the shrunken signature stamped grille and the squared-off wheel arches, making this much more of a beauty than a beast.
Many of the most impressive features now come as standard, like the ParkSense® Rear Park Assist system and the Parkview Rear Backup Camera, giving you eyes in the back of your head. Anyone who shares a car will know the annoyance of desperately readjusting everything so it’s ‘just so’. And failing. But the Jeep Grand Cherokee has been built with sharing in mind so there’s a memory system for the mirrors, radio and driving seat, saving you sore knees and exasperation.
Passengers and drivers alike will benefit from the heated seats and there are two USB charging jacks in the back to keep the kids engrossed in their gadgets while you enjoy the drive. There’s also the option of adding the U-Connect media station and satellite navigation from industry leaders, Garmin.
