On 4th February 2010, the Government announced that the £2000 scrappage allowance scheme will end by the end of this month. The deadline for final orders is 31st March 2010 - or potentially sooner if funds run out before then.
Since its launch in May, demand for the scrappage scheme has been phenomenally high. Introduced to boost the motor industry, the scheme gives motorists £2000 for their trade-in vehicle if it is 10 years old or more. In order to qualify the vehicle must also have been registered in the motorist's name for a minimum of one year and it must have a valid MOT.
As the UK's largest car manufacturers, Nissan have enhanced the scrappage scheme further. The £2000 scrappage allowance is also available for vehicles 8-10 years old, when purchasing a British-built Nissan vehicle such as Micra, Note or Qashqai. This means that drivers with 02-plate cars and older qualify.
So, if you are looking to change your car and your current vehicle is over 8 years old, this really is your last chance to save £2000 on a brand new car.
We will deal with all the necessary paperwork for you and arrange for your vehicle to be scrapped. All you need to do is choose which fabulous new Kia, Peugeot or Nissan suits your needs best, and prices start from only £4995!
