WLMG Nissan on Watford Way, Mill Hill is delighted to announce that Everett Rovers U13 Youth Football Club has topped its league by winning the prestigious Spring Trophy Cup.
The Nissan dealership has been sponsoring the Youth Football Club since July when Fleet Manager, Scott Hill, whose son plays for the team, suggested it would be a great opportunity for the Nissan dealership.
Established in 1991, the Everett Rovers entertained Panathinakos last Sunday (8th May), battling it out to win the match 5-3 in front of a strong audience of 2,000 spectators. The victory took the Rovers through to win the 2011 Spring Trophy.
WLMG’s, Scott Hill commented: “We are delighted that the Everett Rovers have won this fantastic trophy. Sponsoring the team has been a great experience for the dealership and shows a sign of community spirit. The staff at WLMG regularly show their support by attending the teams matches.”
Through the generous support of West London Motor Group, the Everett Rovers have been able to buy new kits, rainwear and training equipment, which gives the team added edge and confidence above their competitors.
Scott continued: “It’s great to see youngsters getting out into the fresh air at the weekend and working as a team to make wins happen. We will continue to offer our support to the Rovers and congratulate them on their success.”
