About wlmg

wlmg is a privately-owned company, representing Fiat, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan and Peugeot with 15 dealerships located throughout North London, West London, Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire and Bucks.

The history of wlmg

The wlmg story begins in 1996 with the launch of our first Nissan franchise in Hanwell. Originally trading as West London Nissan, the site was fully refurbished and opened its doors  in January 1997 by wlmg founder Naeem Hanif.

New Nissan sites in Shepperton and Mill Hill followed in 2004 and 2006 respectively; and in 2007, we purchased the Dan Perkins group of four Nissan dealerships and service centres in Eastcote, High Wycombe, Ruislip and Slough.

In 2008, a new franchise was added to our portfolio with the opening of Kia dealerships in Eastcote and High Wycombe.

wlmg was visited by the then Prime Minister in May 2009, when Gordon Brown chose our Nissan dealership in Mill Hill to launch the Government's Scrappage Scheme to the national press and media.

wlmg Nissan in Mill Hill and Slough were awarded High Performance Centre status in 2010, specialising in the award-winning Nissan GT-R and 370z sports models.

In April 2010, our first Fiat dealership opened its doors in Shepperton.

May 2010 saw further expansion with the launch of new Kia and Peugeot dealerships on Stoke Road in Slough. In addition, the existing Nissan site relocated to Dover Road in Slough, to a brand new, high-tech dealership and High Performance Centre, which is the flagship of the Group.

At the end of 2010, we acquired the Nissan and Fiat dealerships on Rose Kiln Lane in Reading. We saw scope for major improvement at the site and, after an investment of over £250,000, both the Nissan and Fiat showrooms and workshops were completely overhauled and updated to meet our extremely high standards.

To date in 2011, we have made further investment in our impressive Reading site by opening two more brand new dealerships - Hyundai in April and Mazda in June.

Now with 15 dealerships and 6 franchises, we are excited about the Group's development in the future and plan to continue investment in our current portfolio as well as new opportunities within the M25 area.

The wlmg Ethos

wlmg is known for its traditional values of quality, service and commitment, to customers and employees alike.

Our mission statement for the Group is "famous for keeping our promises" and everyone, from the business Directors through to front-of-house team members, are firm followers of this philosophy.

We work hard to ensure that each and every customer feels valued and our unique customer care approach means we now have over 2 million satisfied customers.

We also work hard at motivating and rewarding our staff. Our success and growth is largely thanks to our team's relentless efforts and dedication to our customers. Their enthusiasm, commitment and can-do attitude are the reasons more customers are recommending us than ever before.

At wlmg, our employees also enjoy unrivalled career progression. Our training programme is second to none and we are proud that the majority of our management team have worked their way up through the business.

We're glad to boast a very low turnover of staff which is a reflection of the satisfaction people gain from working with wlmg.

Overall, we care very much about what our customers and staff think about wlmg. We want to continue getting it right so their opinion is very important to us and will never be ignored. To that end, the Directors of wlmg can be e-mailed via promises@wlmg.co.uk and they will listen and respond personally to any comments or queries.
